Poah.app stands for Parama's Otherwise Amusing (and) Helpful .app

You see, its partly true.
Students, especially here where I study (Delft), have it hard. Like reaaally hard. Despite their hardships my colleagues, supervisors, professors.. all these wonderful people have never hung up the phone whenever I needed help. I wanted to give back. The name actually came from a fellow student and a good friend of mine. Whenever something good happens, like when a concept from a lecture finally landed, he would often say: "Poah! Das ni zo moeilijk"

The classic Dutch catchphrase (poah!) just stuck with me while I was building the first app. I want to make apps such that students all around the globe could get more of these Poah! moments. But I admit its a working title hehe.

You see we don't have one. We are currently not even making money right now.

However, this summer project cannot sustain very long without actual income. Yes, summer project. Meaning that the deadline to complete all of this is the day my classes start again. Which means that I have not figured it all out yet. So to simplify this project significantly, a lot of what I call "business overhead" has been stripped a way. I'm just happy that our minimun viable product is out!

And you know what? I'm going to launch anyway. What you are seeing is the unpolished, ugly, rough beauty of building ideas into the world and I'm going to document the process of trying to build a business.
...and I am excited to see how this summer project will grow or even better, fail magnificently.
